Marcus Alexander has only gone and done it again.Book 2 in the Keeper of the Realm series really doesn't disappoint, chocca with endless imagination. The story is so vivid, a reflection on how good Marcus's writing is. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end, it never faltered.
I liked the character of Edge Darkmount, he is scarily untrustworthy but wins Charlie over by promising to decipher her mysterious pendant she holds for a price- if she will help him get revenge on Bane by carr

AWESOME BOOK!!!!!
I AM TOTALLY ADDICTED TO THIS SERIES!!!
STARTED READING AFTER YOU CAME TO VISIT OUR SCHOOL AND LOVE IT!!!
After reading and reviewing the first book, Crow's Revenge, I was hooked. When I found out that there would be a sequel and when I started reading it I was hooked from page 1 to the final chapter. Very few books keep my attention this long if the first five chapters don't get me interested then the book has failed its purpose to entertain the reader but this book didn't disappoint. It is a direct sequel set probably days, maybe weeks after the first book Charlie is freed by Edge Darkmount, who w..more

The Dark Army – Series- Keeper of the Realms by Marcus Alexander – Fantasy – 5th grade and up – Once again, I found this book series really anxiety ridden and page turning… I find this author is relentless to his protagonist. Fascinating to follow the journey and changes throughout this book… still recommend the series.
I love how this story seems real because the craftsmanship is vivid. Everything depends on Charlie and her special powers to save Bellania. Evil is everywhere! Trust is an understatement. Charlie is very determined to win against evil and I like that! All in all, I enjoyed the ride. Good job Marcus!
The description given was so vivid that I can see it through my eyes. That's how realistic it is. I like the improvements in the characters. The only thing that I do not like about it is the cliffhanger. But, this book uplifts the first one.

Here we go again. The rollercoaster ride like story makes me crazy! But seriously, Charlie Keeper's character developed compared to the first book. She is more determined this time. A lot has happened, I don't want to spoil, just read it. lol
I love the character development and how you want to finish reading to know how the story unfolds. I hate the cliff hanger! But I am glad that I read this sequel 'cause it surpassed my expectation based on the first one. Good job!
Trust no one, that's what I believe in. But you know, if you are trying to save a world like Charlie to Bellania. How can you not? Especially when you need help to do it. You go for it. This Edge guy is scary af, but, I guess, that's life. Sometimes, you have to do things for the greater good.
Pros: The book is well-written and the descriptions are superb. I like how the Charlie is perfectly imperfect.
Cons: The cliffhanger! I hate cliffhangers in general. You had it on the first one and you did it again.
Overall, it's a great read.

Best book ever!
I love how the characters developed from the first book but the cliffhanger sucks. lol. Thumbs up for the whole story. I like how it went and I am excited about the last one.
This one surpasses the expectations because of the first book. It has something to it that you cannot resist. Such a quick read.
The plot got me hooked. Charlie is a mess but she's a hero who saves the day! Love that!

Is The Dark Army Real
Quick read! Action packed and fast-paced. Love it!
Best book so far.. :)
Really like this.
I'm glad I bought all three books at once. I read Crows Revenge in two days and I don't like having to wait for the next in a series. This book is as good as the first although a bit darker. I like that Charlie Keeper only gets more and more determined even though things continue to get harder and harder. Can't wait for book three.
I won this book on a goodread giveaway. This is book 2 in a series and I would recommend you read them in order as I was well through the book and still doing catch up. Once aligned I was able to enjoy the characters loyalty and overall plot in this fantastical world aimed at YA. Many Thanks.
This book was really really good. I liked how it followed from crows revenge and was still full of action and advneture. I think the fantasy ideas of tremen and stomen is great.
