In the current version of Windows 10, there are lots of improvements in the functionality of the Sticky Notes. We’re not seeing this update on any of our Windows Insider or Production ring machines just yet, but Microsoft’s Jen Gentleman recently tweeted about the new version of the app, saying it should be rolling out now. According to Gentleman, the update brings the latest version of Sticky Notes to version 2.1.3.0.

The new color picker UI can be found by pressing on the (…) at the top right side of a sticky note. Long time users will see the update now replaces the round color picker palettes with more squarer colors. The update also removes the settings cog from the bottom left side of a note to a dedicated area on the top right side of the color picker palettes.
